Training on Making Simple Disinfectant Liquid Through The Use of Household Cleaning Products in Kubu Dalam Village of Parak Karakah, Padang City

COVID-19 has become a global epidemic and a public concern. One important effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission is maintaining environmental hygiene by using appropriate disinfectants. This activity aims to increase public awareness about the proper use of disinfectants and makes simple disinfectant liquids through the utilization of household cleaning products. This activity took place on September 22, 2024, in Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah Village, Padang City attended 30 participants. The activities included presentations using PowerPoint and brochures, direct demonstrations, and evaluations to assess participants' understanding. As a result of these activities, the community has understood the difference between disinfectants and antiseptics, leading to improve skills in utilizing household cleaning products as effective disinfectants.
